Instagram: Whoever Said Midterms Mean Study Time?

...

I can end the chitter chatter at that title. The title explains everything.

I wish I was you....

After the crazy week that it's been, I want to highlight the beauty of this gorgeous city. Downtown skyline. I'm not sure how I'm going to be able to chase the dream list if all I talk about is this place.

Someone's been to the Scholastic Book Fair. Those were my absolute favourite in elementary school. One year they were even selling ... gasp* Twilight!!

P.E. is a bit of a clutz when it comes to her belongings so I was totally with her when she thought this book was damaged. Except I thought she was the perpetrator. All's well it's the cover design, love it!

I was sitting in the third row and I'm sure the professor saw me squeal. I'm such a nerd...

No P.E. what you need is something much, much stronger ---> crème brûlée?

You may think I'm shamelessly promoting the blog but what I'm actually doing is flaunting my baby. Meet Baby, he has a new rainbow dress! Handsome, no?

So I went to the library to "study". Note the textbook in the bottom, I had it all planned out :)

By far my favourite of the week. Two of my new favourite things. Outlander + Scotland = tartan. Yes I went out wearing that and flaunted it quite proudly.

P.S. Anyone else on Instagram? I'm super addicted and would love to know!

TSC on Instagram! Two Weeks

It's official, The Sirenic Codex now has an Instagram account. Both P.E. and I are very excited about this new step because we adore taking pictures and Instagram is a great way for us to share bookish pictures.

We kickstarted the account with P.E.'s library haul! My favourite of the bunch is Pointe by Brandy Colbert. It was a popular Cover Wars competitor last year and I'm eager to see if what's inside is as good as outside. P.E. loved it.

I was lucky enough to win a copy of Let's Get Lost by Adi Alsaid through Goodreads. Here it is displayed along with our beautiful new blogger theme which I cannot get over!

P.E. and I also went on a failed excursion downtown. Little did we know that all of our city shuts down at 5 pm on a Sunday. On the bright side we spent a good half hour browsing through Chapters, pointing at books we read/want/heard about.

Fast forward to last Sunday, our one week mark, I was reading Cruel Beauty by Rosamund Hodge (I RECOMMEND!) and P.E. is cracking open a fresh box of creativity along with some Fondants (note: P.E. would like to say these cookies are the best thing ever).

Last week I read Prisoner of Night and Fog and completely fell in love with it. I took it everywhere with me. P.E. on the other hand was reading Stolen which she finished today (friday) and really enjoyed!

So far so good :)
