Cover Wars is a weekly showdown of two beautiful covers. The winner, as voted by you, goes on to face a new cover, and wins bragging rights. This is basically a fun way to discuss what we like in covers.
Some Quiet Place fell to Feather Bound by a very small margin. The victor is back this week to face its new competition, Sublime by Christina Lauren.
The first thing I noticed is how the two covers match each other. The dark blues in the background help pop out the white in the title and the models' dresses, hence making two stunning cover.
So, which'll it be?
I love the cover for Sublime! It's so creepy and intriguing. I'm going to have to check it out on Goodreads!
ReplyDeleteHaha, it is quite creepy but in a good way :)

I'm sticking with Feather Bound again this week :) I'm more into covers with art than people!
ReplyDeleteThat's fair. Artistic covers tend to say more about the plot which I love.

Sublime kind of creeps me out so I'm going with Feather Bound for the second week in a row!
ReplyDeleteIt's really interesting that a lot of people think that. It must be the Greek looking guy's fault :)

I'm sticking with Feather Bound myself, I just love the contrast of the soft colours and the ravens!
ReplyDeleteIt really works well for that cover.

I loved Sublime because it's so creepy and intriguing! I also really liked the way the title blended in with the art... I don't know I'm weird! Haha. The only thing that put me off was the shirtless guy, but I still liked it a bit more than Feather Bound. I love this meme idea!

The placement of the S is very cool. I don't think your weird at all, creepy can be nice :)
