The Weekly Progress is a type of wrap up post that happens every Sunday at The Sirenic Codex looking on the week that was.
Hello there everyone, it's Mari! Long time no talk. P.E. is on her vacation and I thought why not take the opportunity to bond :)
This week, I spent a lot of time... working. I haven't been having much of a summer as all I do is work, come home and sleep. I do have plans to maybe go on vacation in the end of the month but until then I will just entertain myself.

Books Read
So, I didn't necessarily read these last week. I read them the week before but lets call it a cumulative weekly progress, I'm rusty. Both were phenomenal. Absolutely perfect and reviews are on their way.
Currently Reading
I wasn't planning on reading this, but then my little brother bought it for me and how could I not adore it? I'm slowly reading this one and am about half way through, it's quite amazing guys. I think this will finally push me to read Allegiant.
Acquisitions! Stacking the Shelves!
Hosted at Tynga's Reviews.
I also was gifted this book.
On the Blog
I started off the week with my movie review of The Fault In Our Stars, this review is almost a month late but better late than never. I loved the movie btw.
This weeks, WoW was A Wicked Thing. I can't wait for this book as I'm loving the cover and retellings are my new thing.
On Thursday, we posted our second Thursday Thoughts post. This time, it's about Teasers, Book Clubs and Ethics!
P.E. then reviewed Control by Lydia Kang which she gave 4 stars to.
Lastly, we had a sort of update post on our new Instagram account. Follow us @thesireniccodex
The Week That Was
Horrible weather, I was stranded outside in lightening and thunder on multiple occasions. When the sky wasn't ripping itself in half, it was too hot to bear -.-
I did go out for Sushi lunch on monday, that was tasty!
Overall, nothing much happened :)

Song of the Week
1. Bailando - Enrique Iglesias
2. Manat - Dawat E Ishq (Indian music)
3. Good Luck - Beast (KPop)
Dong Woon looked especially good in this one.
You had a very good week. I go to the bookstore and I never leave empty handed, so I totally understand not leaving the library empty handed.

Haha thanks. The book store/library thing is a little out of hand for us addicts but I wouldn't want it any other way :)
