Lover Letters prevails once again. It's been going on a spree lately, however this week it's facing the beautiful cover of The Legend of Me by Rebekah L. Purdy.

The Legend of Me has a very captivating cover with the stark contrast between the pale turquoise of the background and the bright red that seems to be enveloping her. The red was interpreted to the cover quite well, almost like blood splatter. A cool little twist I noticed is that wherever the bloodspalater is the bones are revealed.

Both covers have a theme of death but they are executed quite differently. Love Letters is very contemporary and dreamy almost like an illusion while The Legend of Me is very bright and vivid.

It was a close on last week. Both covers seemed to have some fans but ultimately Love Letters won again. This week it's back to face my favourite cover of the Chronicles of Nick series, Illusions by Sherrilyn Kenyon.

Love Letters has a more dreamy feel with all the stars and purple in the background. Illusion on the other hand, has a more action packed cover. The purplish sheen to the cement in the background gives a nice pop to the model's red jacket and the insignia.

It was a clean sweep by Love Letters to the Dead last week and as always it's back this week. This weeks it's up against the sequel to a popular Cover Wars cover, Let the Storm Break by Shannon Messenger.

Both covers are quite similar as both feature beautiful pastel colours in the background and skinny fonts. The starswept sky in Love Letters and the brewing storm in Let the Storm Break make for some appealing covers.

After a close battle, Tandem managed to prevail over the returning champion, A Shard of Ice. As always, this week the champion has returned to face it's new competitor, Love Letters to the Dead by Ava Dellaira.

Both covers have a modern, contemporary feel. The fonts are thin, the background has some sparkly detailing with colours fading in and out. It's also interesting how both covers manage to incorporate a model. Tandem's is more unique with the face inside the raven but Love Letters isn't far behind. The placement of the model and her pose is right on.
