Cover Wars is a weekly showdown of two beautiful covers. The winner, as voted by you, goes on to face a new cover, and wins bragging rights. This is basically a fun way to discuss what we like in covers.
Lover Letters prevails once again. It's been going on a spree lately, however this week it's facing the beautiful cover of The Legend of Me by Rebekah L. Purdy.
Both covers have a theme of death but they are executed quite differently. Love Letters is very contemporary and dreamy almost like an illusion while The Legend of Me is very bright and vivid.
Which do you prefer?
I really like the contrast of colors on The Legend of Me so that was my pick!
ReplyDeleteThe contrast is great. Also that shade of turquoise/blue is quite rare I feel.

I still prefer Love Letters To The Dead cause I love the colours and it has a more sparse look!
ReplyDeleteThat's true; there is a lot going on in The Legend of Me compared to Love Letters.

Definitely prefer Legend of Me. I am loving the covers there. I know everyone adores Love Letters to the Dead and I do want to read that book, but the cover doesn't do much for me.
ReplyDeleteLove Letters has been a popular one these past few weeks but I think it's finally met it's match with The Legend of Me.

I want to lean towards Love Letters to the Dead but Legend of Me is more different. Decisions, decisions.... Because I don't like the read in The Legend of Me I'll go for Love Letters to the Dead.
