STS/Showcase Sunday

Welcome to this weeks Stacking the Shelves/Showcase Sunday!
Stacking the Shelves and Showcase Sunday are two weekly memes held by Tynga's Reviews and Books, Biscuits and Tea. Here we share all the new and amazing books we acquired over the past week!

You may know about my ereader situation if you read my recent post called, Summer Reading: A Look Back. To sum it all up, I broke my Kobo in August. This incident has really crippled my reading and hurt my heart as I love my electronics dearly. And when those electronics are book related, I love them even more.

Back to the topic at hand, my amazing mother was sweet enough to buy me a new one as an early birthday present. For this I will be forever grateful! I got the Kobo Mini which is what I used to have.  I'm quite happy, it's nothing too fancy but it's small, simple, perfect for reading and convient.

My precious!

Bought:
Kobo Mini
Crown of Midnight by Sarah J. Maas

I'm currently reading Crown of Midnight and I'm really enjoying it. Action, suspense, and a fast pace is all I need.

It has also been making me think, not too seriously, more of a curious pondering. I love assassins... but I hate murderers.  What does that say about me? (Check out Zombies: Not My Thing if you want to know what I'm thinking, kinda-sorta!)

  5. I actually never heard of CoK before (tsk, tsk shame on me) but a fast-paced action would be a definite refresher to everything I've been reading right now. Eeee, also that Kobo sure does look nice too (what?! Is that Divergent I see? O:)

Thank you so much for checking out my blog. Definite follow from me. :)

  14. Congrats on the new toy! I had a Kindle Fire before I got my iPad Mini and it broke one weekend. Granted, Amazon replaced it with two-day shipping, but I was lost until the replacement got here. Not a good feeling!

See how I stacked my shelves.

  16. Throne of Glass and Crown of Midnight is already on my TBB list. And is Kobo Mini good, Mari? I am actually losing my mind trying to decide what reader should I get. Ipad Mini, Kindle, Kobo or just buy an Iphone/android phone just so it has an additional purpose other than reading and storing e-books.

    Enjoy your haul!
