If we had two very similar covers facing off last week, then what we have this week is the opposite. Goddess Born is awash with colour and energy. The fire gives the cover some spunk and colour that stands out. Tell Me You Love Me in contrast is simple, clean and adorable. The ruffles on the ripped paper edges adds dimension and makes the cover even more endearing.
Cover Wars: Goddess Born vs. Tell Me You Love Me
Cover Wars is a weekly showdown of two beautiful covers. The winner, as voted by you, goes on to face a new cover, and wins bragging rights. This is basically a fun way to discuss what we like in covers.
After a nice tough battle, Tell Me You Love Me won it's title as last weeks champion. This week it's back to face Goddess Born by Kari Edgren.

Love the cover for Tell Me You Love Me (though the title screams of desperation…lol).
ReplyDeleteHahaha! I love that you said that. It's still adorable :)

Good point. I never thought of it that way. It actually comes from a song the two main characters dance to and then it kinda sticks between them. But I get what you're saying. Something to think about for the rest of the series that starts with... Tell Me... :D Uh oh. Haha!
DeleteNot to worry, we still love it. And I'm even more intrigued to know the title is relevant to the story. That's always a plus!
