Crimson Bound has once again emerged as the victor. This week it's versing another sequel of one of last years cover war favourites, The Heir by Kiera Cass.
Crimson Bound is so alive with beautiful green trees seemingly sprouting from within the floor and the nice figure of a girl in a red cloak, a great reminder of it's predecessor along with the gorgeous spiral staircase. The Heir on the other hand, puts all the focus on the dress and the girl. In this one, I'm more interested in the reflection of the girl. The starry glitter adds a nice dreamy element that is really visually appealing. Both are absolutely amazing when it comes to title typography, they are stunning.

Tough to pick a winner but I love how beautifully work with the covers that have come before them-brava designers!
ReplyDeleteThese two are definitely great examples of consistency in a series. Ever book in these series has been similar yet unique and outstanding on their own. I can't wait to see the covers of the rest of the series.

Both are quite gorgeous but I'm absolutely in love with the cover of Crimsom Bound!
ReplyDeleteThey are stunning and they definitely appeal to different things. If you like dazzling dresses then The Heirs is for you but if you like the beautiful architecture meshed in with the fairy tale aspect of Crimson Bound then maybe that ones for you. Too bad we can't have them both because I'm in love with both :)
