Cover Wars: Don't Look Back vs. Undertow

Cover Wars is a weekly showdown of two beautiful covers. The winner, as voted by you, goes on to face a new cover, and wins bragging rights. This is basically a fun way to discuss what we like in covers.

Last week Undertow pulled another victory this time against the stunning cover of The One by Kiera Cass. It's bad for the third week and this time it's opponent is Don't Look Back, the newly released cover of Jennifer L. Armentrout's upcoming book.



Both covers have the undertone of distress. In Undertow the girl is almost struggling to break the surface while Don't Look Back has a creepy ballerina doll and a broken mirror. Disturbing, but it suits the season quite well!


So, which'll it be?

    I think the ballerina is a really cool touch so I'm going with Don't Look Back.

    Don't Look Back is quite cool, but I still prefer Undertow!

    I had to pick Undertow. I like Don't Look Back -- it's creepy -- but Undertow is just too beautiful. And I want that dress.

    Undertow for this battle. I think the moving Don't Look Back cover is cool, but it's still so very creepy and I just don't digest creepy well. Undertow has a more magical, effortless feel to it :)
