Cover Wars: Tandem vs. A Shard of Ice
Cover Wars is a weekly showdown of two beautiful covers. The winner, as voted by you, goes on to face a new cover, and wins bragging rights. This is basically a fun way to discuss what we like in covers.

Both covers are quite unique. A Shard of Ice is very striking with the bold colours and a close up of the model wearing a mask. Meanwhile, Tandem is simplistic but very intriguing. The font is very modern and the silhouette of the raven with a girls face inside is quite different.

A Shard of Ice is the clear victor, in my opinion. The weird, sparkly background of Tandem is not appealing to me.
ReplyDeleteThe sparkles could be a turn off to some.

I didn't vote for A Shard of Ice last time but I'm going to have to this go-around as I think it's preferable!
ReplyDeleteThat's fair :)
